Anthropological Sense offers anthropological insights on the diverse lived worlds of human beings by putting them in social, historical, political, material, cultural, sensory, temporal and spatial contexts. It aims to explore the extraordinariness of the ordinary phenomena and vice versa. Primarily through both textual and visual essays, the blog will focus on the layered manifestations and meanings of everyday events and processes. Anthropological Sense is currently administered by Bicram Rijal, who is a PhD candidate in Anthropology at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC, Canada.
