Bicram Rijal administers Anthropological Sense blog. He is a doctoral candidate in Anthropology at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC, Canada. His dissertation research examines the politics of sanitation and toilet in Nepal, and the transformation of defecation and sanitation habits. Rijal’s research interests include sanitation politics, embodiment, transformation of habits, actor-network theory, humanitarianism, and civilizing process.
